The Sheppey Inn, Lower Godney, Glastonbury, Somerset BA5 1RZ

The Sheppey Inn | EQUIFOR

Five minutes from Glastonbury and ten minutes from Wells, England’s smallest city, The Sheppey is a pub out in a world of its own, amongst the peat beds and murmurating starlings of the Somerset Levels. We offer brilliant modern European food, a constantly changing roster of beers and ales, and a bar covered in casks of local ciders that’ll knock your socks off.

The Swan, Cheddar Rd, Wedmore BS28 4EQ

The Swan | EQUIFOR

The Swan is open all day for a quick drink, a snack or a delicious meal. Come and sit in our bar beside a woodburner, watch the world go by at tables out front, dine in the restaurant or alfresco on the terrace – or just enjoy the peace of the garden.

We have completely refurbished The Swan, sympathetically modernising the building and restoring much of the original eighteenth & nineteenth century architecture. Opening as a Beer House in the early 1700s, the property was subsequently enlarged to become ‘The Swan Hotel’ from the mid 1800s with rooms, stables and coaching yard. After many years in the hands of indifferent pub companies, The Swan is now firmly back in business!

The George Inn, Long St, Croscombe, Wells BA5 3QH

The George Inn | EQUIFOR

The George is a traditional pub is where everyone can mix in: where stories are told, the world put to rights, opinions aired, follies endured; hunger fed, thirst quenched, bodies rested, the mind stretched and your soul refreshed.

The George welcome everyone: individuals, families, the disabled, walkers, hikers, workers, bikers, and especially dogs.
